VET-TO-VET BEHAVIOR MEDICINE CONSULTATIONS
Access to board-certified behavioral medicine can feel out of reach, especially in Ohio where specialists are limited and demand continues to grow. At Gigi’s, we’re working to close that gap. Gigi’s offers vet-to-vet consultations with Dr. Meghan Herron, DACVB, for canine and feline patients needing support with behavior medication selection, adjustment, or case decision-making. These consults are designed to help veterinarians feel confident in their treatment plans for patients with behavioral concerns.

How does it work?
- The referring veterinarian completes our form (click the button below).
- The client will be sent a link to pay for the consultation.
- Once payment is received, Dr. Herron will contact the veterinarian to schedule the consultation.
Consultations are typically conducted by phone or email. Dr. Herron recommends that the referring veterinarian have a recent examination or phone discussion with the client to ensure up-to-date information on behavior concerns, current medications, and any relevant medical issues.
- Vet-to-Vet Consultation: $250
- Vet-to-Vet Consultation for established Gigi's Behavior Services behavior modification clients: $150
Please note: These consultations are intended to help veterinarians in the decision-making process when prescribing and changing behavior medications for their patients. Behavior management and modification plans are provided through direct client sessions with Gigi's certified Behavior Consultants.
