Gigi's Grads are more than another dog. They’ve experienced the hardships of life in a rural Ohio shelter and are now eagerly awaiting adoption after receiving essential vaccinations, veterinary care, and a comprehensive behavioral evaluation at Gigi’s.
Walk in Adoptions Wednesday - Saturday
- No long application. No adoption appointment. No judgment.
- Visit us during open adoption hours. You'll check in for your walk-in meet and greet and be brought to a private room. Check our current hours here.
- You're welcome to meet up to three dogs during your visit. Our current lineup of adoptable dogs is below, and we can recommend potential matches too.
- Have another dog at home? Bring it with you! Our trained staff are happy to help with dog-to-dog introductions.
- If you fall in love, you'll take your new dog home that day, along with an adoption care package made just for you.
- Remember, our dogs are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. Because every meet and greet is a chance for a shelter dog to find their home, we ask you visit only if you are looking to adopt.

We believe that judgment shouldn’t be a part of getting a dog into a happy home. Find the right fit for your life without long applications or interrogation. Because we know every match isn't perfect, we have a 90-day full return policy. And you can return any dog that doesn’t fit your life at any point – a couple of days in a home is better than another day in a shelter!

Our shelter dogs receive nose-to-tail medical care delivered by Gigi’s veterinary team right on our campus, including vaccines, spay/neuter, specialty surgeries, and dental care.

Just like humans, mental health is a critical piece of a dog’s well-being. Before our shelter dogs are ready for adoption, they are evaluated and receive pre-adoption behavior support.
